Review at my time here in Queenswood

Today is the last opportunity to post a blog from Queenswood! I want to look back at my time in Queenswood, I am going to remenber myself about all the nice moments I had here...but also the things I didn't like here and how I feel about going home again. When I arrived here, I couldn't believe what I had done by coming here because I was alone in my room and there was nobody else...so being here was horrible. But when I met other german girls at dinner, I already felt much better! Thenceforward, I had very much fun here but it was a very exhausting time...of course I am looking forward to meeting my family, my dogs and my friends in Germany again...and although the food here isn't that bad, I am also happy while thinking of german food. The time here was an unforgettable experience, I've made so many friends and I really hope to see them again! You always meet twice a life, don't you? :) We had many excursions to London and I loved the city. I had never been to England before and I definitely want to come back! I like almost everything (except the weather and the food) about it: The people, the cars, the landscape, LONDON, even the busses and the phone boxes!

The future

Today, I want to tell you about my dreams and where I would like to be in 10 years. Well ... first, I want to pass my exams and start studying (perhaps architecture) at University...but not in Munich because I don't want to stay there my whole life ! Until I am about thirty years old, I want to enjoy my life with friends and just have fun ! As almost every girl, I dream of founding a family and living in a pretty house - because I am interested in architecture, I'd like to design the house myself !! For the rest, I want to be taken by surprise...

My first day at Queenswood

On Monday, we had to get up at 7:00 am and we had breakfast at 8:00 am, as always. But then, at 9:00 am, we had an assembly in the old pool hall ... the day before, we had had to do a written test and take an oral exam, so we could be put into classes with other people, who were of the same level. First, we were just talking with Rob, our teacher but then, we had an E-com lesson. We created our own blog and at half past 10, we had a short break. We went into the dining hall and ate some cakes or drank hot chocolate. After that 20-minute break, we had to go back to our classrooms and we talked about Hamlet with Rob. After another 1 and a half hours, we finally had lunch. I actuallt don't really remember what we had for lunch, but I think it was OK. Then, we had to practice grammar with Frankie, another teacher. At the end of our academic day, we went to the workshop, that we had chosen. My choice ha been "media". We started collecting ideas for articles in the newspaper, that we are going to print and deliver on the last Friday of our time here. After dinner, we went playing tennis and it was great fun. Such an exhausting day !!!
